Domoda

In Senegambian cuisine, Domoda is a slightly spicy dish based on peanut butter . It is prepared with poultry, meat or fish and is usually served with rice . In addition to the peanut that determines the taste, ingredients such as tomato paste and other spices such as Maggi cubes and chilli powder are added depending on the recipe . Due to the high fat content of the peanut butter, the dish is high in calories and not easy to digest.

Along with Yassa, it is one of the most famous dishes in the national cuisine of the West African states of Gambia and Senegal .
