Don Jowett
Don Jowett (actually Donald Winston Jowett; born March 4, 1931 in Wellington , † July 20, 2011 in Brisbane , Australia ) was a New Zealand sprinter .
In 1950 he won bronze over 220 yards at the British Empire Games in Auckland . At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver , he won over 220 yards and took silver over 440 yards.
He was three times New Zealand champion over 220 yards (1952-1954) and four times over 440 yards (1953-1955, 1957). His daughter Sue Jowett took part in the 1976 Olympic Games as a sprinter.
