Don Peters

Don Peters (born May 19, 1921 - October 4, 2002 in Oxnard , California ) was an American screenwriter .

Life

Peters first appeared with the script for the short film The Soldier from 1962. Up to and including 1970, four other productions followed in which he was involved.

At the 1967 Academy Awards , Peters and Clint Johnston were nominated for an Oscar in the Best Original Screenplay category for the screenplay for The Death Courageous . After that, both were responsible for the script for Bloody Beach (1967). Most recently, Bloody Mama was created in 1970 , based on a story by Peters.
