Location of Dongshengs in Ordos

The municipality of Dongsheng ( Chinese  東勝 區  /  东胜 区 , Pinyin Dōngshèng Qū ; Mongolian ᠳ᠋ᠦᠩᠱᠧᠩ ᠲᠣᠭᠣᠷᠢᠭ Düŋšėŋ toɣoriɣ ) is a municipality in the district-free city of Ordos in the southwest of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regionin the north-central part of the People's Republic of China . Dongsheng has an area of ​​2,530 km² and a population of 430,000. It is the seat of the municipal government and the administrative center of Ordos.
