Otog banner
The Otog banner ( Chinese 鄂托克旗 , Pinyin Ètuōkè Qí ; Mongolian ᠣᠲᠣᠭ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ Otoɣ qosiɣu ) is a banner of the prefecture -level city of Ordos in the southwest of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regionin the north-central part of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 20,064 km² and has 90,000 inhabitants (2004). Its main town is the large community of Ulan (乌兰 镇).
