Dongxiafeng ( Chinese  東 下 馮 遺址  /  东 下 冯 遗址 , Pinyin Dōngxiàféng yízhǐ , English Dongxiafeng site  - "Dongxiafeng site") is a Bronze Age site primarily of the Erlitou culture from the Xia and Shang dynasties . It is located northeast of the village of Dongxiafeng (Dongxiafencun 东 下 冯村) in Xia夏县 ("Xiaxian") district in the Chinese province of Shanxi . It is dated between -1900 and -1500 and was excavated in 1974. Cave-like buildings, ceramic kilns, tombs and tools made of stone, bones, clay and bronze were discovered on artefacts. The sound stone ( qing ) found there, which was struck when hung, is the earliest known to this day. The pottery excavated are essentially identical to those of the Erlitou culture from West Henan, but there are also certain differences, that is why it is called the Dongxiafeng type of Erlitou culture (Èrlǐtóu Wénhuà Dōngxiàféng lèixíng 二 里头 文化 东 下 冯 类) . Their discovery is of great scientific importance for research into the Erlitou culture and the Xia culture in southern Shanxi.

The Dongxiafeng site (Dongxiafeng yizhi 东 下 冯 遗址) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-9) since 2001 .
