Donington on Bain

Donington on Bain is a village in the British county of Lincolnshire in the East Lindsey district .
It is about 10 kilometers southwest of Louth and about 10 kilometers north of the town of Horncastle in the Lincolnshire Wolds , on the east side of the River Bain . The Stenigot radar station of the British Air Force was located near Donington on Bain until 1996 . In addition, the Belmont transmitter is located in the area of the municipality of Donington on Bain , at times the tallest structure in the EU.
Donington on Bain station is closed with the Louth – Bardney line .
