The house at Donndorfstraße 1 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located north of the historic Quedlinburg old town in a corner at the confluence of Schmalen Strasse and Donndorfstrasse . It is registered as a villa in the Quedlinburg monument register.

Architecture and history

The villa was built in 1897/98 in an area that had previously been part of the medieval city fortifications. In the list of monuments, the villa, named Donndorfstrasse 1–2, is given as the year of construction as early as 1880. The representative building is lavishly decorated with historicizing decorative elements in the style of the Wilhelminian era .
