Coordinates: 33 ° 34 ′ S , 115 ° 49 ′ E The Shire of Donnybrook-Balingup is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 1560 km² and has about 5,300 inhabitants.
Donnybrook-Balingup is located in the west of the state about 180 kilometers south of the capital Perth and east of Bunbury . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Donnybrook, where about 2500 inhabitants live (2016).

The Donnybrook-Balingup Council has nine members. They are elected by all residents of the Shire. Donnybrook-Balingup is not divided into districts. The chairman of the council (Shire President) is also recruited from among the councilors.
