history

Since Metal Inquisitor released their album The Apparition three years earlier , they supported the release of their new album Doomesday for the Heretic with a number of smaller appearances .

They performed with bands such as “Blitzkrieg” and “Desaster” and played at festivals such as “Headbangers Open Air” and “Keep it True”. On top of that, they also had problems with their old label, which they suddenly left without a contract. Nevertheless, they continued to work on their new album and were finally able to find a new label with "Hellion Records" shortly before their new album was finished.

music

The highlights of the album are Doomsday for the Heretic (in German: "Der Ketzer jungster Tag"), which gave the album its name, the lively Thane Of Cowder (in German: "Follower of Cowder"), the short Legions Of Gray (to German: "the gray legions") and the eight-minute, strongly Iron Maiden reminiscent Infamia (to German: "impudence").

The last two tracks are also worth mentioning: With Invader , Metal Inquisitor prove their musical closeness to the traditional New Wave of British heavy metal directly through a cover of the famous Judas Priest track. The last track is called Bad Boys Hardrock Police and is based on the sounds of hard rock from AC / DC .
