The double-seat (also known as Binary peaks ) is a steep and icy pinnacle of 691 m height with two peaks on unvereisten Georgia . It rises 2.5 km north-west of the Krokisiusberg and 3 km north-north-west of the Moltke port .
The naming was made by participants in the South Polar Expedition of the German Polar Commission (1882-1883) under the direction of Carl Schrader . The formation was identified by the British Combined Services Expedition (1964–1965). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee entrusted 1971, the German-language designation into English.
