Dor Daniel
Dor Daniel ( Hebrew דּוֹר דניאל; born on August 29, 1982 ) is an Israeli singer , songwriter, and composer .
Live and act
Dor Daniel grew up in Hod Hasharon , where he also attended school. In 2000, at the age of 18, he released his debut song Im Ha'iti Elohim ( Hebrew אם הייתי אלוהים; dt .: If I were God ). The song was broadcast on Israeli radio. For the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) he was a military musician .
In 2005 Dor Daniel was born with the single Ahawa k'tana ( Hebrew אהבה קטנה, dt .: Kleine Liebe ), which he wrote and composed at the age of 17. The single appeared on the album Shiri Maimon (album) by the singer Schiri Maimon . Due to the success of Ahawa k'tana , Dor Daniel received a contract offer as a songwriter from Roni Baron, the company director of Helicon Records. For Shiri Maimon he also composed Chelek mimecha ( Hebrew חֵלֶק מִמְךָ; dt .: I am part of you ) and Attah ( Hebrew אתה; dt .: you ).
After his military service he first wrote for Harel Skaat , whom he knew from his time in the Israel Defense Forces. He also wrote for Miri Mesika , a friend of Skaat. For Harel Skaat's album, he composed the music for Maschehu mimeni ( Hebrew משהו ממני; German: Something from me ) to a text by Smadar Schir Sidi ( Hebrew סמדר שיר-סידי; born September 10, 1957), the mother of his girlfriend at the time.
Dor Daniel wrote and composed in his early days for Talia Gichon ( Hebrew טליה גיחון). For Idan Janiw ( Hebrew עידן יניב) he composed the music for At jaffäh ( Hebrew אַתְּ יָפֶה; dt. You are pretty ). For Hila Zaitun ( Hebrew הילה זיתון) he composed Tischa'er ( Hebrew תִּישָּׁאֵר; dt. stay! ) and for Maya Bouskilla ( Hebrew מאיה בוסקילה) Smanim cholfim ( Hebrew זְמָנִים חוֹלְפִים; German: ephemeral times ).
For the Israeli television series Jaldot ra'ot ( Hebrew ילדות רעות; dt .: bad girls ) he composed the theme Ha-Mincheret ha-Sman ( Hebrew מִנְהֶרֶת הַזְמֵן; German: time tunnel ).
Although he became known as a songwriter, Dor Daniel saw himself primarily as a singer. In April 2009 he released his debut album Beijn Ha'Chalomot ( Hebrew בין החלומות; German: between dreams ). Daniel wrote and composed all of the songs on his album in collaboration with songwriter Meir Goldberg . The producers of the album were the Israeli musicians Rafi Krispin ( Hebrew רפי קריספין) and Adam Fari ( Hebrew אדם פרי). Two singles from the album have already been released in advance: Makom Lezidech ( Hebrew מקום לצידך; German: Place by your side ) at the end of 2008 and Raziti ( Hebrew רציתי; dt .: I wanted ) at the beginning of 2009. The two singles from this album were very successful, they were often broadcast on the radio for two weeks and topped the music charts . Another single was Machar jih'jäh be-seder ( Hebrew מחר יהיה בסדר; dt .: tomorrow it will be okay ).
Daniel was featured on the Israeli Annual Hebrew Song Charts ( Hebrew מצעד הפזמונים העברי השנתי;) of the radio stations Reshet Gimmel ( Hebrew רשת ג ') and Galgalaz ( Hebrew גלגלצ) of the year 2009 entitled Prizat Hashanah ( Hebrew "פְּרִיצת השנה"; German “Breakthrough of the Year”).
In March 2011 Dor Daniel released his second album Eser chodaschim .
