The evangelical village church of Boblas is located in Boblas , a district of the city of Naumburg (Saale) in the Burgenland district in Saxony-Anhalt . It is a listed building and is registered with the registration number 094 83661 in the state's monument register.

The choir tower church , which is in a characteristic location, has its origins in the Middle Ages and is surrounded by a walled churchyard. In the years 1749 to 1751 remodeling work was carried out in the Baroque style , the south annex for the manorial box with a vaulted prospectus was added and the roof was raised. In 1993 the stairwell on the west side was added. In 1995 and 1997 repair work was carried out on the building.

Interior and equipment

The church has a rectangular hall with a field ceiling and a double gallery. The pulpit altar is decorated with rich vegetable carvings. On the basket there are eight apostle reliefs from a late Gothic altar from around 1510. A figure of Saint Catherine comes from the same period and belongs to it. The wooden baptism was erected in the middle of the 18th century with a tripod with an angel and a shell basin.

Others

There is a tombstone on the church for a Johann August von Tümpling who died in 1731 . The bronze bell in the tower was cast in the first half of the 14th century.
