history

View from the northwest

In the early 1940s, the residents of the village spoke out in favor of leaving the parish of Dahme. After the end of the Second World War , planning began in 1946 for the construction of a new church. According to the Brandenburg State Office for the Preservation of Monuments and the State Archaeological Museum (BLDAM) , it was inaugurated in 1952 and in 1953 according to a church leader from the church district . A burned down manor house previously stood on the property. In 2007 the building was dilapidated and there were considerations to give up the church. However, the village community advocated a renovation. In 2018 the western gable and the roof were repaired.
