The Protestant village church Döllstedt is in the Döllstedt district of the city of Stadtilm in the Ilm district in Thuringia . It belongs to the parish office in Griesheim Kirchenkreis Arnstadt-Ilmenau the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

In Döllstedt there is an evangelical branch church of the parish Griesheim .

The church was built in 1870 on the foundations of a previous building. On the west side of the roof there is a slate roof turret .

In 1771, the villages of Nahektiven and Döllstedt were merged into one parish .

Trivia

When the farmers from Döllstedt and Großliehaben decided to build a dairy around 1900 , Pastor Fabig, who was responsible for the towns of Döllstedt, Großliehaben, Kleinliehaben and Nahlösungen, was the main initiator of founding a dairy cooperative.

Farmers from these and other villages as far as Großbreitenbach joined the association as milk suppliers.
