The Protestant village church Dürrenebersdorf is located in the Dürrenebersdorf district of the independent city of Gera in Thuringia . It belongs to the Gera parish in the Gera parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

history

In the 12th and 13th centuries, the Knights of Zeulsdorf built a large Romanesque chapel on Hofer Handelsstrasse to protect and control trade and passenger traffic. In 1723 renovation and extension buildings are noted. In 1785 and 1786 the church tower was built and the sacristy on the northeast side. In 1832 there was a renovation and the opening of windows.

In 1982 the interior was painted and in 2000 the roof and facade were renovated.
