The Mönchow Church is a late Gothic village church from the 15th century in Mönchow, a district of Usedom . It is located in the southern part of the Usedomer Winkel , near the transition from the Stettiner Haff to the Peenestrom , here referred to as "Der Strom".

The oldest parts of the church date from the second half of the 15th century. As the remains of old foundations show, the choir originally had a round shape. The current straight choir closure with three segmental arched windows was established at the end of the 16th century. The painting of the stalls, pulpit, altar barrier and gallery balustrade was painted over during the renovation in 1883, and restored after more than 100 years. The nave consists of a half-timbered building , which is enclosed by a brick building.

The originally higher church tower, at that time a wooden tower covered with boards on the stone substructure, was overturned in a storm on January 17th, 1817. The current half-timbered upper part was built in the years 1827/28.

The church has a flat beamed ceiling inside. The parapet and the altarpiece, actually an epitaph depicting the Apostle Andrew , date from the beginning of the 17th century. The pulpit is dated to 1605 and was donated on the basis of a vow.

Remnants of the Marien altar, which existed in the church until 1883, are in the St. Petrikirche in Wolgast .
