Architecture and history

The simple church was built in 1905 in the neo-Romanesque style . It has a brick hall on a rectangular floor plan. A half-timbered church tower rises above the western part of the church .

The interior of the church is spanned by a flat ceiling. On the west side there is a gallery from the construction period. The church stalls and the pulpit are also from the construction period.

Much older is a late Gothic carved retable from around 1520 , which comes from the previous building and was restored in 1904. The Lord's Supper is depicted in its central shrine. The inner wings show Mary and John the Baptist . Other images show saints in front of landscapes, such as Anna Selbdritt with a Catherine arranged below, a nun kneeling in front of a church and an Erasmus above Margareta. The pictures of the right outer wing are badly damaged. A representation of Dorothea can be seen. The outer wings have a canvas covering on their back.

The origin of a wooden baptismal font in the church is assumed to be in the 17th century.

In the local register of monuments , the church is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 90292 .
