Later there was an extension to the east made of brick . The gable was designed in half-timbered construction with a crooked hip. The church tower was built around 1800, is clad with slate and has an octagonal tip. More extensive repair work took place in 1928. The von der Schulenburg family was entitled to patronage right into the 20th century .

Furnishing

In the flat-roofed interior there are galleries on the north and west sides . The pulpit altar with a side sacristy prieche probably dates from the first third of the 19th century. The baptismal font, made in the form of a chalice, bears a donor's inscription from 1883. The organ front, which is provided with veil boards made in the Baroque style , also dates from the second half of the 19th century . A painting to the east of the north gallery showing Christ and the Emmaus disciples in front of a landscape is dated as early as 1650 .
