The village church Tautendorf in the municipality of Tautendorf in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia is a monument . It belongs to the parish of Münchenbernsdorf in the Gera parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

location

The listed village church is visible from afar and is located at the southeast end of the municipality of Tautendorf on the site of the cemetery .

history

The church was built in 1628. A gallery is built around the ship . The wooden pulpit stands on pillars. The stained glass window was donated and made by a Trumpet member. In 1993 the church tower was supplied with snow, the sphere and weather vane were renewed. A major interior renovation took place in 2003.

organ

In 1875 the organ builder Poppe built the organ into the building . It is playable.

Bells

There are three steel bells from 1923. The bell chamber is from 1766. The bells are rung manually.
