Doris Egbring-Kahn

Doris Egbring-Kahn (* 1926 in Münster ; † 2016 ) was a German actress .

Life

As early as 1934 the actress was on stage under the name "Doris Egbring" as a child actress at the Städtische Oper Berlin . She received her training in Hamburg at the ballet school and, in acting, with Helmuth Gmelin .

In the early 1950s she worked as an actress at the Deutsches Theater, later several years of engagements in New York and Vermont (USA) followed. Doris Egbring-Kahn has appeared in numerous feature and television films, including the Oscar-nominated short film Gregor's greatest invention .
