Doris Oswald

Doris Oswald (born January 9, 1936 in Metzingen ) is a German author, humorist and Swabian dialect poet.

Life

Her first publications were in Standard German in 1958 and, from 1969 onwards, picture books for children appeared mainly in a joint production with Rosemarie Bauer . She took part in the dialect academy, wrote several volumes in Swabian dialect , has had numerous appearances as a Swabian humorist and is known from several appearances in the SWR 4 Radiolaube.

For her achievements she was awarded the third place of the "Sebastian-Blau-Preis der Schwäbische Mundart eV 2002".
