Doris Senger

Doris Senger (born April 27, 1959 in Villingen-Schwenningen ) is a German politician ( AfD ).

Life

Senger passed his Abitur in 1979 at the home economics high school in Villingen-Schwenningen . She then studied industrial engineering at the Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences until 1985 and graduated in 1985 with a degree in engineering. From 1985 to 1987 she completed a postgraduate course in industrial engineering at Pforzheim University , which she completed with a degree in industrial engineering (FH). Parallel to her studies, Senger was employed as a trainee and industry manager at Mannesmann Kienzle GmbH in Villingen-Schwenningen from 1986 to 1989 . From 1989 to 1991 she worked as a training and documentation manager at Weigang-MCS GmbH in Filderstadt . She has been working as a freelance industrial engineer since 1991. She is married and has two children.

Political career

She has been a member and co-founder of the AfD since 2013. Since July 11, 2019, she has been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg for the constituency 55 of Tuttlingen-Donaueschingen, replacing Lars Patrick Berg .

She was initially refused admission to the AfD parliamentary group, as a two-thirds majority was required after a change in the statutes after the expulsion of the politician Wolfgang Gedeon . On September 26, the parliamentary group's executive board confirmed their membership in the group.

It was not set up again for the 2021 state election . Senger, who is considered to be moderate, lost in the party vote against her parliamentary group colleague Rüdiger Klos .
