Dorothea Draxler

Dorothea Draxler , also Dorli Draxler , married. Niemeczek (born July 7, 1960 in Styria ) is an Austrian cultural manager, educator and radio presenter.

Life

Draxler trained as a teacher and has been involved in cultural work since 1985 as archive manager at the Lower Austrian Folk Song Archive. Since 1992 she has been managing director and spokesperson for today's Lower Austrian folk culture and festival director of AufhOHRchen . Since 2000 she has been modding folk music programs on ORF on Radio Niederösterreich . From 2008 to June 2018, Draxler and her husband Edgar Niemeczek were managing directors of the Kultur.Region.Niederösterreich . Draxler is also involved in music schools and the choir scene in Lower Austria.
