Dornstadt from the south

Dornstadt is a district of the Swabian community of Auhausen in the Donau-Ries district ( Bavaria ).

geography

The church village is about two kilometers west of Auhausen on the open ground. It is structurally connected to the Hirschbrunn in the north . The Oettinger Forest extends to the north and west. The district road DON 14 runs through the village .

history

Dornstadt was first mentioned in a document in 1271. The place was owned by the Counts of Oettinger .

On May 1, 1978, the previously independent municipality of Dornstadt, consisting of the main town and the districts of Hirschbrunn and Linkersbaindt , was incorporated into Auhausen as part of the municipal reform .
