Dorothée de Monfreid
Dorothée de Monfreid (born May 3, 1973 in Paris ) is a French illustrator for children's books and cartoonist .
Dorothée de Monfreid studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs and initially worked as an illustrator. In 1999 her first children's book was published by L'École des loisirs, which was followed by many more. Her comic strip Ada & Rosie has been appearing in the daily newspaper Liberation every two weeks since 2017 .
In Germany, some of her children's books were published by Reprodukt . Your picture book are you sleeping? was nominated for the German Youth Literature Award in 2018 .
