Dorothea Hollatz

Dorothea Marie Hollatz , pseudonym: Theo Holl (born January 20, 1900 in Stralsund as Dorothea Maß ; † December 19, 1987 in Darmstadt ) was a German writer .

Life

Dorothea Hollatz grew up in various German cities and attended the women's school in Erfurt . Here she married the constitutional law teacher Hollatz, who however died early.

In 1930 she went to Darmstadt, where she published her first work in 1931. In addition to her writing activities, she was active in telephone counseling. She published novels, short stories, books for young people and children, poems and stories. In 1960 she was awarded the Novella Prize by Bertelsmann Verlag. For her work, the German Social Services , for which she wrote and read, awarded her honorary membership.

She died in Darmstadt in 1987.

Dorothea Marie Hollatz was buried in the Darmstadt forest cemetery (grave site: R 8d 37).
