Dorothy Cundall

Dorothy Ursula Cundall (* 4th quarter 1882 , † February 8, 1954 in Bournemouth , married Dorothy Harvey , later Dorothy Bisgood ) was an English badminton player .

Career

Dorothy Cundall finished second in the All England in ladies doubles with Alice Gowenlock in 1907, 1908 and 1909 . In 1911 and 1912, both made it to the top when they won the final. Previously, Cundall had already won her first mixed title when she was successful with Guy Sautter in 1910 .

In 1912 she married Douglas Moore Harvey, who died in 1917. In 1922 she said yes to Bertram Bisgood , who was also active in badminton. He represented Ireland six times and later became Vice President of both the Badminton Association of England and the International Badminton Federation .

Dorothy Cundall had two children, Ian Harvey and Jeanne Bisgood, who became a successful golfer.
