Dorothy McKim (born November 8, 1961 ) is an American film producer .

Life

McKim joined the Walt Disney Company in 1980 and has been with Disney Feature Animation since 1984. She was involved in the production management of Disney classics such as Ariel, the Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast . She won an Emmy in 2010 as the producer of the animated short Prep & Landing for ABC in 2009 . The sequels Prep & Landing Stocking Stuffer: Operation: Secret Santa (2010) and Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice (2011), for which McKim received a VES Award from the Visual Effects Society and another Emmy. For the Mickey Mouse short animation film Get a Horse! , directed by Lauren MacMullan , McKim was nominated for an Oscar in 2014 for Best Animated Short Film.
