Dorothy Swinyard
Dorothy Swinyard ( Dorothy Joan Swinyard, married Chipchase; born February 17, 1951 ) is a former British discus thrower and shot putter .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in 1974 she was fifth in the discus throw for England . In the shot put she qualified for the final, but did not appear there.
In 1973 she became the Scottish champion in discus throwing.
She is married to hammer thrower Ian Chipchase .
