Dorrai Logari ( Persian بابه دری لوگری, Ustad Dorrai-e Logari, Dorai Logarai, * in Logar ; † in Kabul ) was an Afghan musician in the 20th century who made Afghan dance music in the Logari style of his home region. Little written information exists about Dorrai Logari.

Dorrai Logeri was popular not only with the Pashtuns , but everywhere in Afghanistan. He sang in Farsi and Pashto . Logari music is represented in almost all provinces. The musical instruments played in his ensemble, especially the rubab lute , are widespread in Afghanistan. Typical Logari music includes several double-headed drums doholak or dohol , several rubab, tanbur , zerbaghali , sornay and ghichak .

At weddings in villages, young men dressed as women ( bacha bazi ) or women known as kanchani ( kantschani, Persian ) danced to Logari music, often conducted by Dorrai himself کنچنى, Urdu کَنْچَن, "dancing girl, dancer").

Logar-Tal's music became famous when Radio Afghanistan RTA broadcast nationwide in the 1950s.

Dorrai's music group was the first Afghan music group to play in Beijing . Dorrai has trained various musicians in this Logari direction. Ustad Bilton (Beltoon) was a famous student. His children, musicians of the same genre, also cling to their names Logari or Lugare .
