Dorte Oppelstrup Jensen (born October 20, 1972 in Nyborg ) is a former Danish sailor .

successes

Dorte Jensen made her Olympic debut at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona in the boat class Europe . In this she finished fifth with 65.7 points. In the boat class Yngling , she took part in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens twelve years later . Together with Helle Jespersen and Christina Otzen as crew members, she won the bronze medal when she finished third thanks to 54 points behind the British and Ukrainian boats. Jensen won a total of eight medals in various boat classes at world championships . In Europe she first won bronze in 1991 before winning the title in Kalø Vig in 1993 . From 1999 to 2001 she was world champion in the Elliott 6m three times in a row , and again in 2006 in Copenhagen . In between, she took third place in Yngling in 2003 in Cádiz and second place in 2004 in Santander .
