Doug Piercy is an American guitarist best known for his Bay Area thrash bands.

Piercy played with Heathen in San Francisco , among others . After leaving it in 1994, he emigrated to Germany, where he founded the band The Company with Guido Krämer (then singer with En-Force) . With this he released two albums, but left the combo and moved back to America. He later played with Anvil Chorus and Angel Witch . He also appeared as a guest musician with various bands, for example with Death Angel , and also produced bands such as Exodus and Testament .

Today Piercy still makes music and lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children .
