Douglas "Doug" Bowbank Robinson (born February 8, 1930 in Newcastle upon Tyne ) is a retired British actor and stuntman .

Life

Robinson is the younger brother of actor and stuntman Joe Robinson . His father and grandfather were wrestlers champion and Doug and his brother trained the wrestling and operated bodybuilding .

Robinson began his career in the mid-1950s. His first film was, among others, Ben Hur . In 1963 he played the Argonauts Eupaemus in the film Jason and the Argonauts . He also appeared in numerous British television series, such as the famous television series With Umbrella, Charm and Melon . Doug and his brother Joe later became the most famous stuntmen in the cinema, especially in the James Bond films.
