The Douglas Bay is a bay on the Lars Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Lands . It is located southwest of MacKenzie Bay and is filled by the Amery Ice Shelf .
The name is said to go back to Russian scientists. The further naming background has not been passed down.
