The Dovizio Rock ( English ; Spanish Islote Dovizio ) is a cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located in front of Canto Point to the northwest of the entrance to Discovery Bay on Greenwich Island .
Scientists of the 3rd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1948–1949) named him after a participant of the research trip. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 2005 in an adapted form.
