Dovydas Kaminskas
Dovydas Kaminskas (born January 25, 1989 in Tauragė ) is a Lithuanian liberal politician , mayor of the Tauragė district since 2019 , youngest incumbent mayor in Lithuania (2019-).
Life
After graduating from high school, Dovydas Kaminskas completed a bachelor's degree in law and administration at Mykolo Romerio universitetas in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius from 2008 to 2012 and a master's degree in international law at the University of Copenhagen , Denmark, from 2012 to 2015 . During his studies he worked in areas such as trade, services and agriculture. In 2012 he was a notarial assistant in a notary's office in Vilnius. From 2015 to 2019 he was an advisor to the Mayor Sigitas Mičiulis in Tauragė. In the local elections in Lithuania in 2019 , he was elected mayor.
Kaminskas was the chairman of the Tauragė Round Table Youth Organization ("Tauragės apskritasis stalas"). He is a member of Lietuvos šaulių sąjunga . He ran the marathon 12 times and also does triathlon .
Kaminskas speaks English, Danish and Russian.
