Dow Travers
Dow Travers (born July 8, 1987 in Grand Cayman ) is a Cayman skier who competes in giant slalom , slalom and super-G . At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, he became the first ever Cayman Islands athlete to take part in the Winter Olympics. In the giant slalom, he finished 69th. Travers also plays on the Cayman Islands national rugby team .
Dow Travers was born on Grand Cayman and first attended boarding school in the UK. He is currently studying geobiology at Brown University in Providence , Rhode Island .
