Downhere is a Canadian rock band consisting of Glenn Lavender (bass), Marc Martel (vocals, electric guitar), Jeremy Thiessen (drums, backing vocals) and Jason Germain (vocals, guitar, keyboards).
Awards and nominations
In 2002 they received the Juno Award ( Best Gospel Album ) and were also nominated for New Artist of the Year at the Dove Awards . They were also nominated for the Canadian Gospel Music Association Covenant Awards that year ( Rock Album of the Year , Rock Song of the Year for Larger Than Life). In 2004 they received the Dove Award for Best Alternative Rock Song of the Year . In 2007 and 2009 they each received the Juno Award in the "Contemporary Christian / Gospel Album of the Year" category.
