Dr. Heinz Cüppers Prize
The Dr. Heinz Cüppers Prize has been announced in honor of the archaeologist Heinz Cüppers since 2005 by the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier and the museum's sponsorship group. The prize was first awarded in 2006.
The announcement takes place every two to three years. The prize is endowed with 2,000 euros. It is intended to honor young scientists who have submitted an outstanding work on the research of archeology , history or art in the city of Trier or the Trier region. A special prize is endowed with 1,000 euros.
