Dr. Cuckoo Labrador

Dr. Kuckucks Labrador is a Basel- based collective of artists - curators , which regularly organizes art-related exhibitions and events. You are also the founders of (pronounced: SUM), the gathering of art-related project spaces in Basel .

history

The collective was founded in 2012 by Lysann König, Chris Hunter, Yolanda E. Natsch, Raphael Stucky and Silvia Studerus. In 2015 Sara & Natascha became part of Dr. Kuckucks Labrador and Silvia Studerus left the group. The group that does not have a fixed space is self-governing. However, they regularly use the self-managed Kaskadenkondensator art space in the Basel Werkraum Warteck pp and organize contemporary art exhibitions there. In 2015 they brought the into being, which once a year offers a public exhibition event, as well as a networking platform for the independent, non-commercial art and project spaces in the Basel region.
