Drabanten (Norwegian for Trabant ) is an isolated nunatak in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises around 16 km west of the Tunga rock spur immediately north of Kirwanveggen in Maudheimvidda .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named him, mapped the formation based on surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
