Dragan Đokanović (born April 20, 1958 in Sarajevo ; Cyrillic : Драган Ђокановић) is a Bosnian politician.

Life

In May 1990 he founded the Democratic Party of Federalists , of which he was party leader. From 1991 to 1993 he was a consultant in the presidential office in Pale . In 1993 he was appointed Minister for War Victims and Veterans in the Karadžić government. He resigned in the same year. At the end of 2005 Đokanović testified against Momčilo Krajišnik, the former speaker of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska , and in 2009 against “Stanišić - Župljanin” in The Hague. Đokanović is running as an independent candidate, but he would like to run again with his party in the next parliamentary elections at the level of Bosnia-Herzegovina .
