Dreiflussstein

The three river stone marks a hydrographic watershed point . At this point on the ridge of the Teutoburg Forest , the catchment areas of the three rivers Rhine , Weser and Ems meet. The Rhine-Weser watershed , the Weser-Ems watershed and the Rhine-Ems watershed meet here . The point is located in Detmold in the Lippe district not far from the Bielstein network transmitter and the Hermann monument . The three river stone consisting of Osning sandstone was inaugurated in 2009. The natural monument Kastanienallee runs near the stone .
