Three virgin group (Auw an der Kyll)
The group of three virgins in the Catholic parish church of Mariä Himmelfahrt in Auw an der Kyll , a local community in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate , was created in the 16th century.
The polychrome broader group of figures, the holy virgins Irmina , Adela and Chlothilde , the middle with blindfold on a donkey is sitting. The 74 cm high and 80 cm wide wooden frame work refers to an ancient legend .
