The Driencourt Point ( French Pointe Driencourt ) is a headland on the west coast of the Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 10 km southeast of Claude Point and marks the northeast boundary of the entrance to Lanusse Bay .

They were discovered by participants in the Fourth French Antarctic Expedition (1903-1905) under the direction of polar explorer Jean-Baptiste Charcot . Charcot named it after the French engineer Joseph Fernand Ludovic Driencourt (1858-1940), who advised him on equipping the expedition with equipment for hydrographic surveying work . The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee converted the French name into English on September 23, 1960.
