Drip Drop is a song from Azerbaijan originating Pop - singer Safura , the first single from her first studio album It's My War was extracted. The single was released in Azerbaijan in March 2010. In the German-speaking countries, a promo single was first released on April 26, 2010, before the single was officially released across Europe on May 28, 2010. The music and lyrics of the song come from the Swedes Anders Bagge , Sandra Bjurman and Stefan Örn. The production was done by Anders Bagge and Stefan Örn, with Anders Bagge being the executive producer. The maxi single for Drip Dropalso includes B-sides Soulless and Gonna Let You Know .
Commercial win
At the beginning of February 2010 Safura took part in the Azerbaijani preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC), which she also won. At the beginning of May Safura began a promotion tour in Germany, which was to take her to the Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland and Russia before her appearance in Oslo. With Drip Drop the 17 year old singer was represented in the 55th Eurovision Song Contest on May 27, 2010 in Oslo in the second semi-final and reached the final two days later with 113 points. There she finished fifth with 145 points.
