The DriveIn drive-in cinema Munich-Aschheim is a drive-in cinema that was built in 1967 and operates all year round in Aschheim near Munich .

The cinema is located on an area of ​​around six hectares on Münchner Strasse between Aschheim and Dornach . It has two screens (fixed projection area with 540 m² (36 m × 15 m), xenon projector with 7 kW for 600 parking spaces) or (fixed projection area with 240 m² (24 m × 10 m), xenon projector with 4, 5 kW for 250 parking spaces).

On May 22, 1969 the opening was celebrated with a brass band, beer and fireworks. At the premiere, the "Pauker und Pennäler-Lustspiel" class wedges with Uschi Glas, Walter Giller and Willy Millowitsch ran on the big screen . When it opened, it said it had the largest screen in Germany. However, at that time, most of the other drive-in cinemas in Germany used the screen size of 540 m² or 36 m × 15 m, several of which were opened in front of the drive-in cinema in Aschheim.
