Dromore West ( Irish : An Droim Mór Thiar ) is a village near the Atlantic coast in County Sligo in the west of the Republic of Ireland .

Dromore West is located on the Dunneil River, between the Ox Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, roughly halfway between Ballina (Co. Mayo), 22 km from Dromore West, and Sligo Town at the confluence of the regional road R297 with the national road N59 . The population of Dromore West was determined in the 2016 census to be 227.

There is an annual local festival in Dromore West on the Bank Holiday weekend in August.
