Drugstore is a London- based alternative rock band. From Brazil coming singer Isabel Monteiro, guitarist Dave Hunter and drummer Mike Chylinski founded the group in 1993 and published in 1994 the first single on their own label. Hunter was then replaced on guitar by Daron Robinson. Shortly afterwards, the three of them were signed to a larger label (Go-Discs). In 1998 the album White Magic for Lovers was released , on which the song El President can be found as a duet with Thom Yorke from Radiohead . After another change of label, the album Songs for the Jet Set was released in 2001 .

A seven-year hiatus followed until Drugstore first appeared publicly again in 2009.
